This prettytown is seeped in traditions of the past, in July a traditional boat race (Palio delle Barche) is held here every year, the young men of the village carry the wooden boats through the streets and onto the water front with the strongest rowers taking over to complete the race. Great fun is had by all taking part and the encouraging onlookers.
