This small fishing village overlooks Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. A story of the lake follows :- Enchanted by the beauty and harmony of the area, the prince of Trasimeno, son of the mythical father of the Etruscans, fell deeply in love with the nymph Agilla. This passionate love story, however ended in his tragic death, Since then the lake has taken the name of this lovelorn prince. The locals believe that Agilla still calls his name in the wind.
